Angela Lane is an impressionistic painter creating rich, colourful art in mixed media encaustic that reflect the joy, beauty and energy experienced in nature. Angela has a background in graphic design and now works out of her studio home in Thornhill Ontario.

“The response to encaustic painting was immediate; I love the freedom of letting loose as a piece takes me on a journey of discovery where organic shapes and colours are pulled back and forth revealing and changing in fluid movement.  Luminous layer upon layer of fused pigmented beeswax is built up and a story comes to life. These visual reflections of my ‘happy places’ allow you to build on the imagery in your mind and complete the story.”
