Anna Bateman’s passion for art has long been expressed in a variety of mediums including fashion and costume design. In recent years, she committed to painting and soon mastered great skill in floral interpretations using both oils and acrylics on canvas. As a student at the AGO School of Art and at Project Art Studio, Anna grew rapidly as an artist with a keen eye for abstract representations of floral and landscape subjects. In this media, she provides explosions of colour and texture – both soft and vibrant – in a variety of themes.

Anna’s continuing artistic growth locally has expanded her audience. Her work now hangs in private collections across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
