Judi Lederman has painted most of her life. Her abstract paintings have been influenced by both historical and contemporary artists such as Joan Miro, Adolph Gottlieb, Mira Schendel, Jonas Wood and Joy Munt.

Text, grids, crossword puzzle images and flowers have been dominant in her artwork. She also plays with botanical art and illustration by inventing abstract images to represent scientific plant parts.

Over the years, she has had numerous group and solo exhibitions in a variety of venues. Her latest exhibit was a solo show at Back Lanes Studio in Toronto.
