Born and raised in Toronto, Melissa remains based in the city. With an art history degree from the University of Toronto and a diploma in furniture craft and design from Sheridan College, she has organically transitioned to painting after years of exploring other mediums. Melissa is a passionate maker, always dreaming of the next travel adventure. Throughout her history working with a variety of mediums, her focus has always been on capturing the essence of moments of joy and spontaneity. Melissa’s work is infused with the optimism and serendipity of adventure. Many pieces are based on photos taken from her own travels.
