Mikey Cheung is an artist of Cantonese-Italian ethnicity born in Toronto, Canada. Focusing on emotion, he creates works of subtle allegory — using stylistic blends from expressionism, classical Chinese painting and Modernism to create works usually done in the moment — sporadically, using the alla-prima technique. Mikey’s work contains themes of love, melancholy and self-understanding. His work has been shown at Revival and Youthful Vengeance.
