Born and raised in Toronto, Millean has always been an advocate for the arts. Since retiring from education, Millean has been devoting her time to her passion: Glass Fusing. She is the sole proprietor of her business “1 in a Millean”.
Inspiration for Millean’s glass art come from a variety of sources: it may be colours or designs in nature or a special piece of glass. Millean enjoys experimenting with lines and textures for her art.
To keep her schedule filled, she is on the Board of Directors for the North York Arts and the Potter’s Studio. As well, she volunteers at the Toronto Botanical Garden.
